Oswego County offers family fun year-round! From June through October, there are countless exciting events and interesting attractions for all to enjoy.
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with festivities at the Oswego County Fair! The fair runs from July 1-5 and includes a fireworks display, parade, live music, carnival rides, dairy and poultry shows, an old-fashioned dance, tractor and truck pulls, a demolition derby, and more.
The fun continues at Harborfest, Oswego County’s largest event! This free festival features live music from two dozen performers, delicious food and drinks, carnival rides, retail vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show. Harborfest takes place from July 23-26.
On July 11, explore the historic Oswego Canal by kayaking or canoeing through four canal locks during Paddlefest! Another event to check out this summer is the Fulton Jazz Festival, four nights in August filled with amazing music and great food.
Race fans won’t want to miss our major racing events! Budweiser International Classic Weekend takes place over Labor Day weekend and is one of the most prestigious events in super modified racing, culminating a week-long celebration of racing and other track activities. Super DIRT Week in October is “Racing’s Biggest Party.” Oswego Speedway’s “Steel Palace” turns into “The Clay Palace” as it showcases the best drivers in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic during the four-day event.
